Poster sessions will take place each afternoon from Monday 12th to Wednesday 14th. Posters are to be mounted on the morning of your session so that conference attendees can visit them during the day. Between 16:00 and 18:00 they must be manned.
Authors are reminded that all contributed papers must be presented, and any which are not presented at the conference can be excluded from the proceedings.
Official staff will check for the attendance of the presenter of each poster and if the staff cannot find the presenter, the presentation will not be included in the conference proceedings.
Your assigned poster program code (e.g. MOPC001) will be the same number as on your abstract. These code numbers will also be shown on the poster boards. Please mount your poster on the board labelled with that number.
Poster size will be A0 in portrait only orientation and mounting material will be provided. Participants are asked to bring with them a printed copy of their posters as no poster printers will be available at the conference.
It is suggested that the posters be prepared so that they can be easily understood even in the absence of the presenter.
The general suggestions for preparation of the posters are provided below:
• Legibility: The poster should be readable from a distance. Suggested sizes include: minimum graph size 20cm, section heading letters 25mm, and text and figure lettering no less than 10mm.
• Heading: General heading label for each display area should include the title and the presenter's name and institution.
• Titles: All figures and tables should be titled. The sizes, format, and number of the posters (beyond the heading) are left up to the discretion of the presenter.
We encourage you to upload a PDF version of your poster using IBIC2016 Author Account, and this will be included in the proceedings.
To upload it, name the file with the programme code and "_poster.pdf" (for example “MOPC001_poster.pdf”) and then upload in the same way as for papers.
